EBA&D seeks an accomplished professional for the position of HR Manager, reporting to the VP Human Resources and Organizational Development.

 

Responsibilities:

The HR Manager provides oversight to all site HR leads in EBA&D and subsidiaries. Areas of oversight include but not limited to: Strategic Planning, Organizational Development, Performance Management, HR Metrics, Recruiting, Affirmative Action Planning, Retention, Training & Development, Employee Relations, and Legal Compliance.

 Assists the VP Human Resources & Organizational Development with forward thinking programs focused on talent development and ongoing feedback in order to drive a culture grounded in common vision, common values and aligned behaviors.

 

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with a strong preference for certification SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. The right candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised with a track record of success and strong problem solving skills. This person should have a proven track record of: superior leadership, mentoring, change agent and strong interpersonal & communication skills.

  • A minimum of seven years of experience in Human Resource General Management, preferably with multi-site experience in a manufacturing or engineering company.

  • A strong competence in multiple HR functional areas (specifically employee relations/training and development) and a strong business acumen and a desire to lead others to success.

  • The ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives; to direct business leaders on the HR and organization implications of business plans and targets; and to recognize opportunities for restructuring. (Implement strategic organizational change to increase productivity and employee satisfaction)

  • M&A due diligence and integration experience is preferred

  • Global HR experience and competence is a plus.

  • Supervisory or management experience

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Strong follow-through and sense of ownership along with an aptitude for building successful relationships with employees at all levels
