Since the beginning, EBAD’s commitment to quality has been based on the high-reliability performance demands of the industries and markets we serve. Rooted in the principles of MIL-Q-9858, NASA, and the Department of Energy quality system standards, EBAD has evolved and tailored its quality management system to meet the international and aerospace industry recognized models, ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100:2009.
To support these models, continually improve our system, and better satisfy our customers, EBAD is actively expanding its capabilities in state-of-the-art progressive-quality disciplines such as Lean/Six Sigma. Consistent with the ISO/AS model, EBAD’s quality management system is a process-based structure built on the following elements: Quality, Leadership, Resources, Customer Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations. In September 2011, EBA&D successfully completed the transition to AS9100:2009 with a multi-site certification for our Graham, KY; Moorpark, CA; and Simsbury, CT facilities. We will complete our transition to AS9100: 2016 by the end of the third quarter of 2017.
